Dear readers,

my name is Jonathan Brachthäuser and I am a computer scientist, webdeveloper, classical music fan boy and musician.

I am a third year PhD student in the group of Klaus Ostermann at Tübingen University.

I finished my master studies at University of Marburg, Germany and received my bachelor’s degree from the University of Applied Science, Stuttgart. During my bachelor studies I worked at elephant seven, Hamburg.

In my spare time I like to work on open source projects like Scala Effekt and other fancy language or web related things. Some older projects are contexthighlighter and ejs. To get an idea what drives me at the moment, you can always look the list of repositories that I created and forked.

I love simple solutions (using the right tools for a job) as much as beautiful software architecture and ingenious embedded domain specific languages.
